Simon

Sales

Following years of hands-on experience in the trade industry, Simon joined our team in 1994. With skills in turning, milling, fabricating, welding, pneumatics, hydraulics & some PLC basics, Simon’s in-depth knowledge and experience in the manufacturing industry allows him to provide outstanding customer service. He prides himself on being prepared to go the extra mile for customers and is grateful for the continual growth of the business.

Chris

Sales

Chris is a fully qualified toolmaker, proficient in computer aided manufacturing. He has partnered with numerous top tier companies on their production manufacturing operations and is now a sales engineer/partner with R.E. Tooling. This allows him to leverage his trade background to deliver cutting edge solutions for organisations that seek innovative productivity improvements.

Throughout his career, he has taught CNC and CAM at Regency TAFE as well as being heavily involved in the SA Toolmaking industry through his role as state technology manager with TIFA. Chris has run machine shops in the medical and automotive industries and has a strong background in process improvements and driving change.

Chris strives to provide excellent quality along with hard work and sound ethics. He is passionate about his work and welcomes discussion around industry trends, networking and business opportunities.

Marc

Sales

Marc is a qualified fitter and machinist who spent 10yrs working in earthmoving remanufacturing departments before moving into a sales role. It was during this time that he gained extensive knowledge about cutting tools and the manufacturing industry as well as process improvements, machining strategies, and most importantly, building relationships and providing optimum value to customers.

His time in sales has been the most exciting phase in his career to date, where he enjoys building long lasting friendships and helping customers meet their daily goals and overcome their challenges. Joining R.E. Tooling in October 2020, Marc is looking forward to this next phase in his career!

Jarrod

Sales

I started my career in 2001 as a Toolmaker / CNC Machinist, completing my apprenticeship in 2005. After many years in the industry as a CNC Programmer/Machinist, I worked on many complex projects for various organisations and sectors, including Aerospace, Defence, Medical, Mining, Rail, and General Engineering. With this experience, I progressed into management roles within the Engineering sector.

My extensive background in CNC Machining, CAD/CAM, Toolmaking, Project Management, Mechanical Fitting, and Fabrication, has allowed me to develop into a proactive and versatile professional who strives to provide excellent customer service and technical support.

With 20 years’ experience in the industry, my large range of networks and expertise will ensure the next chapter of my career, within RE tooling will be exciting and challenging. I look forward to working with a proactive, committed, and goal-oriented organisation, with prospect of gaining new business along the way.

Starting my career as a mechanical fitter and turner, which later then transitioned into a full-time project management role. I have obtained a broad knowledge and understanding within the advanced manufacturing industry covering fabrication, CNC machining and assembly disciplines.
My experience in these areas covers a broad range of industry sectors, including Defence, Aerospace, Mining and General Engineering.

With over 10+ years of experience working in manufacturing, I understand the challenges faced within the industry and strive to provide my clients with direction and technical support to achieve the best possible outcome to get the job done.

Troy

After completing my Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship in 2002, I continued my professional development, gaining experience in diverse engineering and maintenance environments working on high-precision projects as well as projects involving large equipment/machinery.
I have worked on projects that covered the mining, defence, aeronautical, medical, MIL-GOV-LE, firearms manufacturing, general manufacturing and metal fabrication industries.

Being in the engineering industry for 20 years as a CNC machinist, I have gained extensive knowledge over a broad range of areas in the industry.
Joining R.E Tooling in June 2022 has allowed me to share my knowledge and help customers with their machining and procurement problems.
